Takes a low, controlled forward stride to widen out and get into a wider base to hit from. Minimal hand movement as he lands. Instead adjusts barrel angle prior to launching swing. Up the middle type approach with a flat level swing plane throughout BP. While catching, consistently had pop times of 2.18-2.31. Flashed a clean exchange, soft sure hands and consistent footwork. Lots of flexibility and quiet setup behind the dish when framing. Works beneath the ball and keeps hips low throughout. Used an-over-the-top slot with a short arm action with consistent accuracy to the base. Also ran a solid 7.16 on a grass track in the 60.
