6-foot-1, 185 pounds and carries the weight well with a strong, proportional frame. Fluid hitter in the box with the classic, smooth left-handed swing into a high finish. Stays tall in his stance and braces up against a strong front leg at contact. Creates his bat speed with easy effort while producing exit velocities in the low 90’s. Likely to tap into more power, especially to his pull-side. Head stays down thru contact. Defensively, had a strong showing at the hot corner. Moved well on all of his opportunities and displayed a soft glove hand. Sets up in a wide base for his pre-pitch approach. Uses his first step to adjust to the ball and funnel in on his left-side, which allows his momentum to get into the throw. Short, whippy arm action with a high ¾ release. L/R profile works well for corner INF.
