Lean, athletic build at 5-foot-7, 148 pounds. Features good pound-for-pound strength in his frame. Posted a quality 7.19 in the 60 on a grass track. Offensively, registered a high of 92 mph on exit velocity during BP and flashed some of the best Blast metrics we’ve seen so far. Hits from a narrowly open stance with some weight pre-shifted onto his backside. Hands show a subtle, controlled load as he gets into landing. Swing plane has impressive depth into the zone, allowing him to get on plane early and stay there thru contact. Defensively, the actions work on the dirt and he should stay there long-term. Footwork comes naturally & he flashes an understanding for the speed/tempo of the play. Feet stay active as he works thru the ball, helping create additional momentum on the throw. Short, bent arm action with a high takeaway after his exchange.
