Offense/Defense: Sets up in relaxed, narrow stance in the box. Feet square to pitcher. Low leg lift to load and get into forward stride. Hands show consistent rhythm/movement. Level barrel path thru the zone with low finish after contact. Hands stay tight to body and work inside of the ball. Defensively, kept momentum behind the ball while working thru throws with clean footwork in the OF. Uses side shuffle with lower half to line up with target. Short, compact arm action with high ¾ release point. Throws stay on line and showed consistent accuracy.
Pitching: Worked exclusively out of the stretch from far 3rd base side of the rubber. Uses abbreviated leg lift to gather on back side. Hands break down center of body as he gets into slight knee bend on back leg. Short, controlled stride into landing. Very short, compact arm action. Allows arm to be on time at landing and create some deception by hiding the ball. Finishes with intent out front at release. Flashed 3 pitch mix with FB/CB/CH.
