The number two ranked prospect in the Oregon senior class, de Brun continued to show why he is one of the top talents in the area, generating some early round draft buzz. The strong-framed lefty maintained a tight coil with a smooth finish in BP rounds, shooting would-be line drives to the back of the cage. The plus athlete also had one of the best home-to-first times of the event.

Offensively starts with feet shoulder-width apart in a more upright athletic position and slight open stance to pitcher. Loads weight on backside with a low leg lift. Strides with intent and a compact scap load. Backside and hands drive through pitch upon landing. On plane powerful swing to all fields. In the outfield, works around and through the baseball. Uses gather steps before fielding. Shuffles with intent before the throw from a longer arm motion. Throws with purpose reaching 90 mph.
