Physical: Lean, highly athletic 6-foot, 165lb frame with lots of projection left in the build. 7.02 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: Wide, even stance with the feet outside of shoulder width; flat start up near the head, using an on time barrel tip with short lift and replace stride to initiate the bat head through a flat, strong path into the hitting zone. Mostly pull-side approach, able to lift the ball on pitches knee high and up, generating big time juice over the LF wall (344 foot batted ball distance). Connected, lofty approach posting a 60% fly ball rate over the course of his batting practice round. Extra-base hit abilities flashed with middle of the order considerations (91 mph bat-exit velocity).
Defensively: The primary outfielder got downhill on the baseball with positive chest angles and a soft/fluid glove hand. Active footwork generating advantage hops and maintained easy pace through the release (medium, over the top slot). Accurate, one hop throws on the target and 79 mph arm strength pointing towards LF/CF projection.
Pitching: RHP - Started off the far left side of the rubber with a short side rocker into a low, slightly hip coiled stack position before reaching out with the land leg towards the plate, wide position at release from an OTT slot, FB carried to the plate (75-77 mph). Mixed a nicely shaped 65-67 mph CB (11/5 tilt) with feel for spin and ability to land for strikes.
Physical: 6-foot, 165LBS. Lean, athletic build. 7.23SEC 60-Yard Dash.
Offensively: RHH. Wide, balanced base. Hands start high and work into a bow & arrow load. Hands get into a strong load position. Right foot tilted in to promote some torque in the swing. Good rotational acceleration numbers per Blast Motion. Quality bat speed. Bat works flat to slightly up through the hitting zone. Step and replace stride.
Defensively: Athletic and fluid actions in the OF. Clean and easy movements. Takes his time during the exchange, will be able to cut down on said time due to overall athleticism. Strong OF arm swing and slot. The high 3/4 to OTT release leads to good carry on throws.
Pitching: Begins on the 1B side of the rubber with hands at chest height. Hands move down to belt line during the rocker step then up during the leg lift. At glove break the arm has a gradual move down and back. The arm picks up speed as it starts the forward move. Over the top release point.
