Physical: Connected, athletic 5-foot-9, 160lb frame with repeatable actions on the bump.
Pitching: RHP - Started off the far left corner of the rubber with a quicker paced delivery. Got the ball and attacked, swinging the leg to above the waist towards a shallow stride, giving way to a fast arm from H ¾ slot. Phased into a stiff front side at release, blocking off properly on a 77-79 mph FB (11 inches of HM, arm-side run, 47% zone rate via Trackman). Mixed a two-plane 66-69 mph CB on an 11/5 tilt, able to manipulate with consistent sweep across the plate. Countered with a trusted 70-71 mph CH that killed at 1660rpms, diving with some intriguing action off the plate.
Physical: Proportional. athletic 5-foot-9, 160lb frame with room to fill out. 7.12 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH - Wide, crouched stance with the hands showing rhythm low at the shoulder. Utilized a pronounced leg lift while holding posture over the rear hip, creating stretch at the launch. Initiated the bat head through a flat path towards a high finish on the backside, allowing for a lofty approach through the LCF side of the field (44% fly ball rate per Trackman Baseball). Notched a 310 foot peak batted ball distance during his batting practice round while posting an 83 mph bat-exit velocity.
Defensively: The primary middle infielder arrived to the baseball on time with the glove hand fielding off of the inside of his left foot. Adequate pace and a clean exchange at belt height. Released with accuracy at a high ¾ slot and showed off a quick trigger at times. Feel for plays on the move and was able to change arm angles based on play.
Pitching: RHP - Started wide across the mound, using a deep side rocker with a pause before getting to a high, hip-coiled position. Released with a stab on the back hip before getting on top and powering through a high ¾ slot with high intent. The FB entered the zone at 77-79 mph with carry to the plate (18 inches IVB per Trackman Baseball) and paired a biting 67-69 mph SL across the plate in advantage counts.
