Offensively: LHH. Open setup, with feet just outside his shoulders; flat bat to start. Drops hands on the way back with an up and down stride for timing. Stays behind the ball while showing an aggressive lower half. Showed a short swing path with a two handed finish. More groundballs than line drives and flyballs with a peak exit velocity of 87 MPH via Trackman.
Defensively: Starts with an upright /tall setup; uses prep hop while fluid actions to the baseball. Hands are off to the side while standing up during transfer. Moderate arm circle from a standard 3/4 arm slot. OF - 75 MPH.
Pitching: Ramirez uses a glove side setup while using an angled drop step. Belt high leg drive with shoulders above the hips. Has a short stride while landing slightly closed. Short take back while stabbing downward, while working through a standard 3/4 slot. Spins off 3B side with finish. FB: Peak velo of 76 MPH, while sitting 72-75 MPH; arm side run with sink. Average effort, stays behind the ball well with direct path. Middle of the field approach; peak Trackman exit velocity of 81 MPH.
5-foot-7, 130-pound left-handed hitter starts from a square stance and uses a toe-tap stride to begin. Showcased a direct swing path with rhythm throughout and hands that work well through contact. Registered a bat exit velocity of 72 mph and ran an 8.64 60-yard dash. Displayed athletic actions in the outfield while playing through the baseball with 72 mph arm strength. The lefty sat 66-69 on the mound from a high 3/4 arm slot. Curveball showed looping 1/7 break at 57-58. Straight changeup at 59-60 was thrown at near fastball arm speed.
