Physical: 5-foot-10, 195 pounds; Sturdy, build. runner in the 60.
Pitching: Uses an arm side setup working primarily from the stretch. Belt high leg drive with a slight lean over the belt. Has a moderate stride while landing slightly open. Moderate arm swing while stabbing downward; standard 3/4 slot. Square to the plate with finish. FB: Peak velo of 78 MPH, while sitting 77-78 MPH; straight action. CB: 64-66 MPH; 11-5 shape. SL: 68-69 MPH; short action. CH: 69-70 MPH; runs. Showed the ability to command and expand the zone when needed.
Physical: Compact, thick 5-foot-10, 185lb frame on the bump with some lower half strength.
Pitching: LHP - Started off of the middle of the rubber using moderate pace in a traditional, balanced delivery. Created adequate stride length on the move towards the glove, creating some arm-side run on a 72-74 mph FB that commanded well at times from a H¾ release. Mixed a short 60-62 mph SL with developing sweep characteristics and added a fading mid 60’s CH working down into 1583rpms range.
Physical: 5-foot-8, 175LBS. 9.21 60-Yard Dash.
Offensively: LHH. Begins with feet shoulder width apart and a slightly open stance. Hands go down and back during the load as the lower half begins its move towards the pitcher. Weight rocks onto the rear leg and gets stacked over the backside. Bat path plays to the middle of the field while showing the ability to go the other way and turn on the pitch in.
Defensively: The left handed 1B uses a right, left, hop prep step as the pitch is being delivered. Wants to work low to the ground but has late presentation of the glove on ground balls. The arm works and translates well to the mound.
Pitching: LHP. Sets up on the middle of the rubber and squared to home plate. Hands begin up in front of the face and stay high throughout the rocker step. Utilizes a leg lift to slightly below chest height as he starts to work down the slot. The arm action is clean and maintains slight bend in the elbow during the arm circle. Emphasis on pronation.
