Physical: Durable, 5-foot-9, 170lb frame with even proportions in the build. 8.10 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH - Balanced, even setup at shoulder-width as the hands operated loosely with some calculated rhythm. Utilized a lift and replace stride out towards the pitcher staying low postured entering the hitting zone through a flat path towards a pull-side approach. Posted an easy batting practice round, peppering line drives at a 40% clip (via Trackman) adding a T87 mph bat-exit velocity while wearing out the LCF gap. Hit into a stiff/properly blocked off front side allowing for the hands to separate through extension and produce a near 300 foot batted ball distance at its peak.
Defensively: The primary backstop featured adequate receiving skills from a moderately compact, left knee down setup in the crouch. Pop times ranged from 2.02-2.10 with replaceable footwork, releasing from a slightly uphill path with the shoulders (H ¾) getting to a medium/high position out of the stance in catch/throw. Accurate results on the bag at T70 mph with room for more as he holds additional strength.
