Physical: 5-foot-8, 170 pounds; Slight, proportional build.
Pitching: Uses a center rubber setup while using an angled drop step. Belt high leg drive with a slight coil away from the plate. Has a moderate stride landing inline with the plate. Long arm swing while arm stays in line with 2B; standard 3/4 slot. Spins off 3B side with finish. FB: Peak velo of 74 MPH, while sitting 73-74 MPH; commands both sides. CB: 63-67 MPH; showed depth. CH: 70-71 MPH; fading action. Curveball showed good spin rate with downward action.
Physical: Strong, durable 5-foot-7, 165lb build with room to develop.
Pitching: LHP. The southpaw begins taller off the middle of the rubber; short side-rocker step towards a coiled stack position. Maintained above-average pace in the delivery with feel to finish out of a H ¾ slot. Held a small-running FB at 68-70 mph (1964), varied command, and mixed a low-60’s sweeping CB across the zone. Added a commanded 64-67 mph straight-CH.
