Physical: Lengthy, projectable 6-foot-3, 195lb frame with above-average proportions. 7.50 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH - Open, slightly bent stance with the barrel angled at a 45 over the head. Utilized a short lift and replace stride unleashing a whippy, upper half dominant swing through a flat path into the hitting zone. Stayed relatively upright in the posture while keeping the hands behind the ball, drove hard line drive contact where it was pitched at head height (63% line drive rate via Trackman Baseball). Feel for the top hand/barrel and hit into a stiff front side at impact. Projects with more of a table-setter approach with ability to get into the legs a little more; high level bat to ball skills play (87 mph peak bat-exit velocity).
Defensively: The primary first baseman displayed adequate pace and a soft glove hand operating easily off the middle/left side of his body. Flat spine angle at the fielding window and funneled inward with a quick release from high ¾ (73 mph arm); repeatable effort and some range to the first-base line side of the field.
6-foot-2, 175-pound right-handed hitter starts from a square stance and initiates his swing with a lift-and-replace stride. Showcased balance throughout with some length to his swing. Registered a bat exit velocity of 71 mph and ran an 8.10 60-yard dash. Showcased developing defensive skills around the bag at first base with 71 mph arm strength.
5-foot-10, 140-pound right-handed hitter starts from a square stance and utilizes a heel-raise stride. Displayed a line drive approach with a bat exit velocity of 67 mph. Showcased a developing defensive skill set with 64 mph arm strength from the outfield and 56 mph arm strength across the diamond. Overall game will benefit from strength gains through physical maturity.
