Positional Profile: 3B/RHP

FB: T88, 86-87 mph. Produces quality running action that holds velocity well. T2001, 1789 average rpm.
SL: 78-79 mph. Heavy downwards break that has potential to turn into a powercurve down the line. T2124, 1993 average rpm.
CH: 79-80 mph. Possibly best secondary offering that tunnels very well with fastball with good speed differential. T1742, 1715 average rpm.

Positional Profile: 3B/RHP

Hit: RHH. Slightly open stance with feet shoulder width apart, hands are held just past should at that height. Rearward and forward moves occur at the same time before launch. Creates good tension before driving back leg through. Slightly upward batpath lives out front, wants to drive balls to and through the left field fence with a max distance of 365. Present strength can add rotational speed to maximize strength. 69.2 mph bat speed with 12 G's of rotational acceleration.
Power: 96 max exit velocity, averaged 89.6 mph. 367' max distance.
Arm: RH. INF-88 mph. Great arm strength with a quick whippy arm action from a low 3/4 slot.
Defense: Silky to the ball and shows good range to both sides. Creates good momentum going to first after fielding.
ATH: 7.43 runner in the 60. 1.65 in the 10 yard split. 26.50 max vertical.
Physical: Above-average, stocky 6-foot-2, 200lb frame. 7.81 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH. Balanced, even stance, as the hands operated from a power position by the ear to begin. Utilized a controlled leg-lift to initiate the swing through a whippy, slightly uphill path into the hitting zone. Easy juice to the big part of the yard, producing clean rotational scores while matching plane to different zones around the plate. Interesting hitter to know as the athleticism keeps coming in waves (T90 mph exit, 81 AVG, 316 foot distance).
Defensively: The shortstop demonstrated likeable qualities, playing through the ball with rhythmic hands that will give him chances around the INF moving forward. Loose, fluid arm-stroke, dropping down to the side at times up to 82 mph. Might hold down a corner role eventually.
Pitching: RHP - The big-bodied righty set up off the left side with a moderately paced delivery that held the line well to glove side. Downward angle on the FB, up to 82 mph and spun a sweeping upper-60’s CB that challenged bats for awkward swings (15 inches HM).
Physical: Strong, durable 6-foot, 200-pound frame with some physicality present. 8.16 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH - Balanced even stance with the hands calmly set up at the shoulder. Utilized a short lift and replace stride to initiate the swing through a slightly vertical path into the hitting zone. Recorded a lofty approach and hard contact to the pull-side of the field towards a two-handed finish on the backside. Moderate posture, barrels, and a T90 mph bat-exit velocity during his batting practice round. Front-side blocks off properly.
Defensively: The shortstop arrived on time with solid movements on the left side of the diamond. Showed off a soft glove hand early in presentation, and funneled into the midline before releasing from a whippy ¾ slot (79 mph). Will most likely make a move to a corner IF spot down the road (3B).
Pitching: RHP - Starts off of the middle/left side of the rubber with average tempo in the delivery. Higher leg lift and maintains balance into footstrike, working downhill from an OTT slot. The FB ranged from 79-80 mph with heavy action and mixed a short 71-73 mph CB with occasional sweep. A developing 72-73 mph CH was thrown at near arm-speed as it enters further refinement.
