Physical: 5-8, 150 pounds; Average, slender build. 7.4 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Even setup, with feet just outside his shoulders; bat positioned at a 45 degree angle. Short take back with the hands with a slight leg-kick for timing. Stays behind the ball while showing an aggressive lower half. Showed a short swing path with a a finish around the back. More line drives than flyballs and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 91 MPH via Trackman.
Defensively: Starts with a low to the ground setup; uses prep step while utilizing a quick first step. Hands are out in front with a clean transfer. Short take back from a standard 3/4 arm slot. INF - 82 MPH.
Physical: Compact, athletic 5-foot-7, 145lb frame. 7.41 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH. Open, slightly crouched stance, as the barrel rested on the shoulder to begin. Utilized a leg-lift stride to initiate the swing through a whippy, upper-half driven attack on a flat path into the hitting zone. Recorded a T90 mph exit velocity (83 mph AVG) and was a model of consistency during the round. Lived on the barrel with gap-to-gap presence up to 272 feet, line-drives mostly, more to come.
Defensively: The middle infielder demonstrated a quick internal clock, able to get rid of the ball immediately from a strong base with fluid transfers. Flashed simple glove-actions that pushed/pulled depending on hop; 80 mph arm-strength from H ¾.
Pitching: RHP. Begins from the middle of the rubber; slower-pace in the delivery, moving fast into footstrike out in front. Found the zone from 76-80 on the FB with short arm-side life and mixed a sweeping 66-68 mph CB across the plate.
Physical: Compact, proportional 5-foot-7, 145-pound frame with feel for the game. 7.51 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH - Athletic stance with a slight bend in the knees and rhythmic hands. Utilized a barrel-tip off of the shoulder timed up with a simple leg-lift stride to initiate the swing. A flat rotational path created high contact traits during batting practice and a middle of the field approach. Recorded a 70% sweet spot rate and 88 mph bat-exit velocity suggesting quality barrel awareness.
Defensively: The primary shortstop arrived on time with a wide, lower base and active hands in front. Funneled to the midline with moving feet to the bag and released from a ¾ slot up to 78 mph across the diamond. Made the play on the run accurately.
Pitching: RHP - Fast rocker step with some start/stop to the delivery. Finds a balanced stack position with some hip coil before driving downward off of the backside at release from a H ¾ slot. The FB landed at 78-79, T80 mph with a lower slot and some ride, mixing a sweeping 62-64 mph SL with natural feel to spin. A 65-67 mph CH was able to maintain FB plane, showing late fade halfway to the plate.
