Physical: 5-foot-10, 180 pounds; Wiry, slender build. 7.18 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Open setup, with feet just outside his shoulders; has a pre-pitch bat waggle. Drops hands on the way back with a moderate leg kick for timing. Stays behind the ball while showing a strong lower half. Showed a slight lift to the ball with a late one hand finish. More flyballs than line drives and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 88 MPH via Trackman.
Defensively: Starts with a compact setup; utilizing a one knee approach while staying low during receiving. Hands work through the ball with a clean transfer. Short take back from a high 3/4 arm slot. 2.32-2.39 pop times. C - 72 MPH.
Physically: 5’10 170 lb C/ 1B ran a 7.18 laser timed 60-yard dash. Young frame has time to develop more size and strength.
Offensively: Starts with a wide base and some simple hand waggle. He uses a small leg kick as a timing mechanism. The hands load in a rocking motion and continue the momentum into the pitch. Shows ability to cover different pitches around the zone.
Defensively: Receives from a 1KD, new school stance, and sticks pitches with a slight upward glove path. He moves to a traditional squatted stance when throwing to bases. He uses a quick jump turn to get squared up before making short and quick throws to bases.
