Physical: 5-9, 143 pounds; Lean, average build. 7.81 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Even setup, with feet narrow; bat positioned at a 45 degree angle. Short take back with the hands with an up and down stride for timing. Slides weight forward pre-contact. while showing a limited effort from the legs. Showed a moderate swing path with a two handed finish. More line drives than flyballs and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 77 MPH via Trackman.
Defensively: Starts with a compact setup; uses prep hop while being aggressive. Hands are out in front with a clean transfer. Short take back from a standard 3/4 arm slot. INF - 72 MPH.
Pitching: Uses a center rubber setup while using an angled drop step. Mid chest leg drive with shoulders above the hips. Has a moderate stride landing inline with the plate. Short take back while showing no restrictions; standard 3/4 slot. Square to the plate with finish. FB: Peak velo of 74 MPH, while sitting 73-74 MPH; straight action. CB: 62-66 MPH; early action.
Physical: Wiry, developing 5-foot-9, 145lb build. 8.11 runner in the 60YD.
Offensively: RHH. Narrow, open stance that holds the hip-coil early from a high-handed start. Utilized a leg-lift stride to initiate the swing through a steep, flat path into the hitting zone. Longer arms extended on the ball for a T78MPH EV with occasional tilt. Mostly fly balls off the bat.
Defensively: The third baseman featured quality footwork before the touch, getting taller at release, up to 71MPH across the dirt. Soft hands moved inside/outside the frame while ranging to his GH.
Pitching: RHP. Calm, controlled pace that repeats down the slope. Slight stab in the back, but threw strikes at 75-76MPH; 6FT release. Mixed mid-60’s CB on an 11/5 plane with ability to land and flipped over 65-67MPH SL too.
