Physical: Strong, athletic 5-foot-11, 185lb frame with ability to translate into gameplay. 6.93 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: Wide, balanced start with the hands operating high, slightly over the plate with rhythm. Utilized a leg lift on time with a barrel tip, yielding an accurate, flat path to enter into the hitting zone for great success. Recorded a mostly pull-side approach through the LCF part of the field; stayed in the legs with occasional, controlled weight shift into a stiff front side. Notched a 96 mph bat-exit velocity per Trackman Baseball and worked his way up to a 50% hard hit rate during his batting practice round. Featured solid bat to ball skills that can play anywhere from 2-5 in the order.
Defensively: Got the chest downhill early with some pace during defensive evaluations; featured an attacking style of play while fielding inside the left foot with a clean exchange. Recorded consistent footwork that arrived on time, repeatable high ¾ slot with accuracy on the plate (77 mph arm) allowing for LF/CF projection moving forward.
5-foot-9, 165-pound right-handed hitter starts from a square stance and uses a lift-and-replace stride to begin. Showcased a line drive, middle of the field appraoch. Registered a bat exit velocity of 78 mph and ran a 7.29 60-yard dash. Played through the baseball defensively with accurate 76 mph arm strength from the outfield.
