Physical: Physically advanced, well proportioned 6-foot-4, 200-pound frame with feel for his body in all phases of the game. 7.36 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: LHH. Tall, even stance with balance in the approach and the hands starting high at the shoulder with rhythm. Utilized a repeatable leg-lift stride coupled with minimal hand movement on the load in order to initiate a flat barrel path into the hitting zone. Long levers worked to whip through the baseball at impact with a pull-side approach and got consistent lift after extension creating occasional backspin to the RCF side. Pulled the momentum slightly out of the zone early showcasing some timing issues when pitched on the outer corner or softly in game. When he gets ahold of it, it travels far as evidenced by a top of 93 mph bat-exit velocity per Trackman Baseball.
Defensively: The first baseman showcased adequate feel around the bag with a low center of gravity allowing for a soft glove hand to play aggressively out in front of his body. Fielded the ball off the right foot and showed solid range to the glove hand side during game action. Repeatable transfers yielded accurate throws to the target with momentum under his body through the fielding window. Arm worked through a high ¾ slot with a moderate takeaway on the backside. 1B - 79 mph.
Pitching: Deliberate pace in the delivery, arm works through a quick, OTT slot with some downhill play on a 79-81 mph FB with small arm-side fade. Mixed in a 68-69 mph CB showing 1/7 shape and 1754 max spin. Countered with a developing 69-70 mph KN that will most likely be scrapped for a changeup down the line.
Demonstrated feel for a physical 6-foot-4, 200-pound frame with noticeable strength in his actions. The primary left-handed pitcher sat 78-81 mph out of an over-the-top arm-slot with deliberate, controlled movements in the windup. Mixed in a 66-69 mph curveball featuring 1/7 shape down in the zone and countered with a 70-73 mph knuckleball showcasing occasional tumble when thrown right. The left-handed hitter begins with a tall, slightly open stance utilizing a leg-kick with present weight shift to initiate a slightly uphill barrel path into the hitting zone. Showcased a strong top hand in the setup with power in the lower half, evidenced by recording an 88 mph bat-exit velocity during batting practice while hitting into a stiff front-side. Ran a 7.23 60-yard dash featuring the comfortability he possesses in his frame. The first baseman displayed adequate feel around the bag with a low center of gravity allowing for a soft glove hand to play well through the baseball. Adequate transfers yielded an accurate 75 mph arm-strength across the infield out of a high ¾ arm-slot.
