Physical: Longer, wiry 6-foot-2, 190lb frame, still adding size and mass.
Pitching: LHP. The southpaw begins from the middle of the rubber, working out of the stretch-only. Up-tempo delivery with separation down the mound and a loose, twitchy arm that showed no restrictions. FB had big life at 85-87MPH (2331rpms) with a tough angle into the zone. Mixed developing upper-70’s SL with cut action and swing/miss low-80’s CH, faded to arm-side.
Physical: Next level 6-foot-2, 190lb frame with all the starter traits there are.
Pitching: LHP. The southpaw begins from the stretch-only off the middle of the rubber. Up-down leg lift with a pronounced move down the slope and separation present. Fast, dynamic arm from lower ¾ that works a full circle, FB landed at 83-86, T87.1 (2285) and gained plenty of swing/miss in the zone. Added hard-biting 72-74 mph SL as strikeout offering and turned to fading 81-83 mph CH to righties. Feel for three.
Physical: 6-foot-2, 185 pounds; Lean, long build.
Pitching: Uses a glove side setup working primarily from the stretch. Belt high leg drive with a slight coil away from the plate. Has a long stride while landing slightly open. Moderate arm swing while showing effortless and fluid actions; high 3/4 slot. Spins off 3B side with finish. FB: Peak velo of 84 MPH, while sitting 83-84 MPH; arm side run. CB: 69-70 MPH; 1-7 shape. ;CH: 75-76 MPH; maintains same plain.
Physical: Lean, lengthy 6-foot-1, 165lb frame with some athleticism on the bump.
Pitching: LHP - Started off the middle of the rubber, operating from the stretch-only. Medium leg lift with minor hip coil at the top, getting down the mound with lots of length/pace. Full arm swing with a big takeaway and got slight downward tilt when on time at H ¾. The FB ranged from 78-80, T81mph with an AVG of 11.5 inches of IVB on its travel to the plate. Added a solid 67-69 mph CB at a 1/7 shape, generating consistent sweep (12+ inches of HM via Trackman). A 63-65 mph SL showed frisbee shape at times and similar sell to the FB, countering with an adequate fourth offering; a commanded 73-75 mph CH with arm-side fade.
Physical: Lean, athletic 6-foot-1, 165-pound frame with feel for his body. 7.33 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH - Wide, athletic setup with the barrel resting on the shoulder pre-load. Utilized a barrel tip at the top of the load coupled with a lift and replace stride in order to initiate the hands through a flat path and into the hitting zone. Showed slight lift after impact evidenced by a 40% fly ball rate per Trackman Baseball. Stayed short to the baseball and long through it, generating mostly hard, pull-side contact during batting practice. Hit into a stiff front side while recording a peak bat-exit velocity of 83 mph.
Defensively: The first baseman featured feel around the bag and arrived on time to the fielding window with the right foot, fielded off of the middle of his body with some range to the glove side, moderate posture on the approach. Accurate 77 mph arm strength across the diamond from a ¾ slot.
Pitching: LHP - Worked from the stretch only with good in-line direction towards the plate, everything played on time at footstrike allowing a long arm path to arrive on time at release through a high ¾ slot. FB ranged from 79-81 mph with increased arm-side run (13.2 inches of HM) and advanced extension (6.53 feet) creating some jump towards the plate. With ability to fill up the zone at 67% early in counts, the lefty flipped in a tight, downer 1/7 breaker with a likewise 67% zone rate. The CH tunneled out of the exact same slot as the FB, which made it tough to pick up at the plate for hitters.
