Pitching: Leg lift above the belt, strides out slightly closed for crossfire action. moderate take away to a low 3/4 slot. FB: T 83-88 MPH, 83-88 MPH. Arm side run with 2335 spin rate. SL: 72-78 MPH. Sharp 2-plane action with avg. 10.5 in of drop and 11.8 in horiz. movement.
6-foot-3, 160-pound primary pitcher sat 83-85 from a high 3/4 arm slot with heavy arm-side run to his fastball. Gets downhill well and has room to add to his long frame for added future velocity. Curveball is a well above average pitch with high spin rate, 1/7 break. Changeup is thrown with good sell and arm-side fade at 70-75. The right-handed hitter starts from a square stance and initiates his swing with a lift-and-replace stride. Displayed some length to his swing with a line drive approach. Registered a bat exit velocity of 82 mph and ran 7.27 60-yard dash. Moves well in the outfield and showed straight line carry on throws of 85 mph to home plate.
6-foot-1, 140-pound lefty has long levers and plenty of room to add strength over the coming years. He sat 79-81 with a loose arm action out of a 3/4 arm slot. Gets downhill well and commands a two-pitch mix. Curveball at 68-71 showed 1/7 rotation and the potential to be a quality second pitch.
6-foot-1, 140-pound right-handed hitter initiates from a square stance and starts his swing with a knee-knock stride. Showcased good extension as evidenced by his 78 mph bat-exit-velocity, but can sometimes get long and arm-bar. Recorded a 7.38 60-yard dash. Demonstrated soft hands and 78 mph, accurate throws from the outfield. Left-handed pitcher stacks slightly across his body and uses a high 3/4 arm-slot to deliver 78-81 mph fastballs with arm-side-run. Fehrman spun 66-69 mph curveballs that featured 1/7 tilt. Commanded 68-72 mph changeups that displayed straight action.
