Physical: Lean, athletic 6-foot, 165lb frame with more strength available in the build. 7.26 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH - Wide, balanced stance showing off a lengthy attack in the box; high/calm hands to begin using a whippy, flat path to enter the hitting zone from the shoulder. Worked mostly through the middle of the field in a low-effort approach, finding success getting leveraged at the front of the plate. Posted a T85 mph bat-exit velocity via Trackman Baseball and added a 46% fly ball rate with ability to backspin the baseball (near 300 foot batted ball distance). Occasional doubles power with a solid base as he continues adding significant physicality onto the build.
Defensively: The primary middle infielder used a hop in the “prep step” allowing for quick pace and an immediate first step downhill towards the baseball. Approached with adequate footwork, showing a soft glove hand at the fielding window. Above-average feel on the run and clean exchanges allowing for on-time releases from high ¾ to ¾ on the run (75 mph arm).
Pitching: RHP - Started off the far left side of the rubber with a moderate side rocker before using a medium/high leg lift at the top of the stack; worked down the mound with some intent, pulling off slightly to the first base side at release. FB ranged from 76-78 mph flashing some arm side run, countering with a hard-sweeping 65-67 mph SL (T17 inches of HM). A third pitch (70-72 mph CH) appeared sparingly with ability to kill spin (1290rpms average).
