Recorded a T79 mph exit velocity via Trackman while getting around the ball at times for a pull-side approach. Taller posture that worked into a stiff front-side with some barrels.
Defensively: The primary first baseman showed off adequate feel at the bag, fielding off the center of his body with a soft glove-hand and keeping momentum going towards the target. Delivered a 75 mph arm-strength across the dirt.
Physical: Lean, projectable 5-foot-9, 130lb frame. 8.52 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Offset, shoulder-width stance, as the hands operated slightly up-tempo at the ear. Utilized a short up/down lift and replace stride to initiate the swing through a slightly uphill path into the hitting zone. Narrow base at times, accurate hitter that found the barrel during his round. T72 mph bat-exit velocity at his peak.
Defensively: The first baseman fielded cleanly at the bag, bending in the waist with a soft glove hand. Slid over to the OF and popped a number, working up to 67 mph arm-strength with a bounce to the plate. Corner projection.
Pitching: LHP - Quicker pace into a controlled stack position; moderate H ¾ slot that released downhill, strikes. The FB ranged 68-70 mph and added 56-58 mph CB that showed shorter.
