Physical: Compact, well put together 5-foot-10, 170-pound frame with athleticism throughout the movements. 7.08 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH - Balanced, crouched setup with the hands beginning idle on the shoulder with a methodical shoulder move and barrel tip at the top of the load, utilized a short lift and replace stride to initiate the bat head through a controlled, flat path and into the hitting zone. Was very sudden in the “swing phase” generating short and quick actions to the baseball and a peak bat-exit velocity of 90 mph. Very little waisted movements and weight shift into a stiff front side while getting negative on the attack angle at times. Recorded a 36% fly ball rate and a 9% hard hit rate (batted balls over mph) coupled with insane hand speed (26 mph max) and a sneaky power ceiling (28.9 G’s of rotational acceleration per Blast Motion).
Defensively: The primary outfielder showcased a low center of gravity on the approach gaining momentum towards the target with downhill chest angles; solid footwork arriving on time to the baseball with a soft glove hand at the fielding window. Accurate 71 mph arm strength with room for more (short/moderate takeaway on the backside).
