Physical: Projectable, high-ceiling frame at 6-foot-3, 205lbs. 7.42 runner in the 60.
Offensively: LHH. Taller, wider stance, as the hands operated at the shoulder to begin. Utilized a toe-tap stride to deliver the barrel through a whippy, slightly uphill path into the hitting zone. Plenty of rhythm available, connecting the body in the box and producing loud pull-side contact into the T90 mph exit velocity range. Found leverage for extra-base hits at 343 feet, living on the sweet spot for a 60% line-drive rate.
Defensively: The middle infielder utilized his length to gain range in either direction. Likeable posture with a soft glove hand playing loosely at the toes. Fielded cleanly and worked directionally to the target for 81 mph across the dirt.
Pitching: RHP. Starts off the left side of the rubber; hip-coil at the top of the stack with some downward tilt on the FB from a H ¾ slot. Attacked at 76-80 mph to both sides (2099), mixing a manipulated mid-60’s breaker with two-plane shape. Added a 67-72 mph straight-CH (1378).
Physical: Physical, highly athletic 6-foot-3, 200lb frame with the size to play. 7.69 runner in the 60.
Offensively: LHH - Upright, even stance, as the hands operated up/down at the shoulder. Utilized calm rhythm and initiated the swing through a flat, direct path into the hitting zone. Simple, one handed finish on the backside and repeated the movement consistently at the plate. Did damage when getting the arms extended, peppering both gaps for a T88 mph bat-exit velocity. Worked up to a 289 foot distance at his peak and projects to continue seeing measurables move north. The actions work nicely in game.
Defensively: The middle infielder displayed an active first step with good reads off the bat. Covered ground laterally and showcased downward chest angles over the toes. Played with pace and added a moderate-intent H ¾ slot across the diamond at 76 mph.
Physical: 6’1 195lb SS/RHP ran a 7.91 laser time 60-yard dash. Solid build uses long levers to his advantage.
Offensively: Starts in an upright stance with high hands pre-loaded. Has some long movements that when consistent on time can be powerful. Smooth LH stroke works smooth and easy.
Defensively: Uses long strides approaching the ball, keeps a flat back when it comes time to receive the ball. Catches ball with two hands and has a quick release. Raw athleticism when moving in all directions.
Physical: Strong / well put together 6-foot-1, 178 mph frame. 8.10 runner in the 60-yard dash. Offensively: LHH. Narrow even stance with slight weight shift into the backside leg in the stance as the hands started with controlled rhythm above the shoulder. Utilized a leg hang stride with barrel wiggle as the timing mechanism in order to initiate the hands through a flat path and into the hitting zone, showed present lift after impact. Liked to get the hands extended out over the plate with long levers, adequate usage of the lower half while hitting into a stiff front side with a medium-upright posture throughout. Lived in the middle of the field with an impressive 90 mph bat-exit velocity per Trackman Baseball / 46% ground ball rate. Defensively: The primary shortstop featured a quick first step with feel for where he wants to go in routes, choppy movements at times and bends at the waist in a moderate posture, gets the chest parallel to the ground when fielding with a moderately soft glove hand playing out in front. Accurate high ¾ slot on throws across the diamond. SS - 77 mph Pitching: RHP - Started tall from the middle of the rubber, side rocker step with below average pace in the delivery, medium leg lift at waist height with straight line drive out towards the plate with some hitch in the actions, landed slightly closed creating some crossfire at release through a high ¾ slot. FB ranged from 74-75 T78 mph with 2009 max spin per Trackman Baseball / 43% zone rate. Mixed in a slow breaking 57-61 mph CB with 2077 rpms and 11/5 shap, (needs to be thrown harder), countered with a 69-71 mph straight CH.
