Slid over to first base with above-average feel around the bag and good pace on the approach. Fielded off his left and got rid smoothly up to 82 mph across the diamond.
5-foot-8, 160-pound right-handed hitter turned in the top round of batting practice on the day. He starts from a slightly closed stance and utilizes a heel-raise stride to begin. Showed solid footwork and a soft glove hand around the bag at first base with accurate 68 mph arm strength across the diamond. The righty sat 73-75 from a high 3/4 arm slot off the mound while also showcasing a curveball with 11/5 rotation at 61-62.
