Physical: Lean and well proportioned 5-foot-10, 165-pound frame with room to continue adding strength. 7.73 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH. Balanced, even stance with a quiet setup as the hands showed controlled bounce off of the shoulder. Utilized a quick leg lift stride to initiate a slightly uphill barrel path into the hitting zone with lift after contact. The hands were short to the baseball while getting long through extension towards a high finish, consistently matching the plane of the pitch and doing damage out over the plate. Created plenty of hip shoulder separation in the box with an adjustable lower half that allowed for the usage of the whole field during batting practice. Recorded a top bat-exit velocity of 86 mph according to Trackman Baseball and a maximum batted ball distance of 290 feet.
Defensively: The primary backstop showcased solid receiving abilities from a low setup in the crouch, beat the ball to the spot with a soft but loose glove hand and got extra low on the pitch down in the zone with ability to stick it high. Pop times ranged from 2.09-2.13 using quick and repeatable straight line footwork that gained ground towards the target, quick catch and throw skills in the transfers allowing for a short high ¾ slot to play with accuracy on the bag. Worked hard to get lateral while blocking as the glove hand got down in the dirt first. C - 74 mph
