6/29/16 Physical 6-foot, 205-pound right-handed hitter. Starts from a square stance and strides slightly closed. Exhibits good balance showed some pop to the pullside gap. Posted 85 mph exit velocity and ran a 7.16 60-yard dash. Showed 81 mph arm strength with accuracy from the outfield. Raw arm strength didn't translate as well behind the plate (67 mph from the crouch), although he is still in the process of recovering from a shoulder injury. Pop times were 2.19-2.27, while he showed a strong glove hand when receiving and a solid wall when blocking.
5/23/16 6-foot, 205-pound right-handed hitter with some juice in his bat. Starts from a slightly open stance and takes a waist-high leg kick to a square landing. Lined a single to right vs an upper-80s FB his first AB and later drove a long foul ball to the left field corner that may have cleared the fence had it stayed fair. Received well with strong glovehand. Posted a 2.28 in-game pop time with a hitch in his arm action.
