Physical: 5-10, 175 pounds; Broad shouldered, sturdy build. 7.3 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Even setup, with feet wide spread; has a pre-pitch bat waggle. Short take back with the hands with an up and down stride for timing. Drifts into contact while showing an average effort from the legs. Showed a downward swing path with a late one hand finish. More line drives than flyballs and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 87 MPH via Trackman.
Defensively: Starts with a low to the ground setup; uses prep step while displaying fluid actions to the baseball. Hands are underneath the body while funneling to the hip before transfer. Short take back from a standard 3/4 arm slot. INF - 71 MPH.
Physical: Boxed shoulders in a 5-foot-10, 175lb frame. 7.45 runner in the 60YD.
Offensively: RHH. Spread, even stance, as the barrel worked with rhythm off the shoulder. Utilized a heel-raise stride to initiate the swing through a flat path/quick trigger into the hitting zone. Occasional lift after contact, but maintained a 64% line-drive rate via Trackman. Posted a T84MPH EV from a gap-to-gap approach.
Defensively: The primary infielder showed a hop in the prep-step and active feet towards the target. Hands soft at the center of the body, lower ¾ release across the dirt, up to 75MPH. Size will push him to a corner IF spot.
