Physical: Long and projectable 6-foot-3, 200-pound frame that oozes athleticism throughout, starter’s build. Notre Dame commit.
Pitching: LHP - Side rocker step with an up tempo pace in the delivery, side rocker step with a medium-high leg lift showing obvious hip coil at the top of the stack, got directional towards the plate while landing slightly closed, arm worked with ease and fluidity through a high ¾ slot, full arm-circle with ability to hide the baseball well on the back hip. FB appeared from 83-86 mph with high level command and plenty of arm-side run. Lived off of the outside corner with the heater early and dropped in a two-plane/swing and miss 74-76 mph BB with 1/7 shape (2212 spin per Trackman Baseball) while featuring late depth .. should project as an out pitch moving forward. Struck out almost half of the batters he faced on the big stage; established the zone early and mixed offerings with consistency keeping hitters off balance.
Physical: Athletic and lanky, 6-foot-3, 200-pound frame. Durable build.
Pitching: Sets up in the middle of the rubber and gets into an up-tempo delivery. He has a high leg kick that he closes off before striding back open and at home plate. Shows a short arm swing and throws out of a high ¾ arm slot.
Fastball: Shows the ability to throw his heater for strikes with some natural arm side run. He is currently mid 80s with the pitch, topping at 87, but there is more in the tank and should be up to and above 90 as he fills out.
Curveball: 1-7 shape with some late depth
Slider: Sharp breaking, two plane slider that sat in the low 70s.
6-foot-3, 185-pound primary pitcher has added two inches and 10 pounds to his frame since we last saw him. The left has seen an up tick in velocity and shows signs that there is still more velocity to come. The left sat 82-84 from a 3/4 arm slot with solid rhythm to his repeatable delivery. Fastball and changeup at 73-75 both showed sink and arm-side run. Curveball is still a pitch in development at 73-74 with short, cutter action.
6-foot-1, 175-pound primary pitcher is long and lanky with plenty of room to add to his projectable frame. Sat 76-79 from and easy, repeatable delivery with much more in the tank. Fastball showed natural cut out of a 3/4 arm slot. Curveball showed late, slider break at 70-71. Changeup showed similar arm speed at 67-68. The right-handed hitter starts from a square stance and initiates his swing with a toe-tap stride. Showcased as short stroke with a line drive, middle of the field approach. Registered a bat exit velocity of 80 mph and ran a 7.57 60-yard dash. Displayed capable footwork and a soft glove hand around the bag at first base with accurate 74 mph arm strength across the diamond.
