Physical: 5-10, 170 pounds; Proportional, slight build. 7.66 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Even setup, with feet just outside his shoulders; has a pre-pitch bat waggle. Lifts hands with an up and down stride for timing. Stays behind the ball while showing an aggressive lower half. Showed a compact swing path with a two handed finish. More flyballs than line drives and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 91 MPH via Trackman.
Defensively: Starts with a balanced setup; uses prep step while showing choppy feet. Hands are off to the side with a clean transfer. Long arm swing from a high 3/4 arm slot. OF - 82 MPH.
Pitching: Uses a center rubber setup while using a side step. Minimal leg lift with a slight lean over the belt. Has a long stride landing inline with the plate. Long arm swing while arm stays in line with 2B; standard 3/4 slot. Square to the plate with finish. FB: Peak velo of 80 MPH, while sitting 78-80 MPH; plays up in the zone. CB: 68-71 MPH; slurve like action.
Physical: Compact, strong 5-foot-8, 150lb frame. 7.77 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH. Wider, balanced stance with some rhythm off the shoulder. Utilized a short lift and replace stride to initiate the swing through a direct path towards a two-handed finish. Some rotational aspects at the plate while getting up to a T85 mph bat-exit velocity at his peak. Ability to gain additional power as he matures with a useful gap to gap approach.
Defensively: The middle infielder stayed down on the ball with a soft glove hand out in front. Bounced around to the left side with some game-like pace during defensive evals. Quicker transition in/out and H ¾ release up to an accurate 77 mph across the diamond. Could handle either MIF spot.
Eli Mandler: SS/OF, (2025) Upper St. Clair, PA. 5-foot-7, 135-pound. During batting practice, Mandler recorded an exit velocity of 82 mph. (62.27 mph bat speed average). (19.95 mph hand speed average). Begins in a balanced stance with a controlled load, then uses a quick stride. Bat speed is quick, shows a short simple swing plane and high finish. Solid while in the infield, recorded position velocities up to 74 mph; had sure hands, developing fluid footwork, and a clean exchange. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Had a quick arm action and a high ¾ slot. In the 60-yard dash, his time was 8.27. .
