Physical: 6-foot-2, 170 pounds; Long, slender build. 7.31 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Even setup, with feet just outside his shoulders; bat positioned at a 45 degree angle. Short take back with the hands with a moderate leg kick for timing. Drifts into contact while showing a limited effort from the legs. Showed a downward swing path with a two handed finish. More groundballs than line drives and flyballs with a peak exit velocity of 83 MPH via Trackman.
Defensively: Starts with a balanced setup; uses prep step while showing choppy feet. Hands are out in front with a clean transfer. Long arm swing from a standard 3/4 arm slot. INF - 83 MPH.
Pitching: Uses a glove side setup working primarily from the stretch. Belt high leg drive with a slight lean over the belt. Has a moderate stride while landing closed. Long arm swing while arm wraps behind the body; side arm release. Upright with finish. FB: Peak velo of 82 MPH, while sitting 80-81 MPH; arm side run. CB: 70-71 MPH; . SL: short action. Long, funky sidearmer looks to be a tough AB for RHH. High spin arm, FB was heavy with low IVB and significant arm side run avg 21in HM.
