Physical: Solidly built 6-foot, 182-pound frame with athleticism throughout. 7.49 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH. Begins with a crouched, even stance as the hands start with noticeable rhythm even between the shoulder and the ear. Utilized a deliberate lift and replace stride to initiate the hands from the shoulder through a flat barrel path into the hitting zone with slight lift after contact. Strong wrists at impact and aggressive lower half drive generated lots of ground power at the plate and allowed for impressive Blast Motion measurables. Recorded a 26.10 mph hand speed in the box which was well above average, giving him the ability to see pitches deeper before launching, created a maximum of 20.2 G’s of rotational acceleration demonstrating the power he possesses. Showcased a pull-side approach with ability to pepper the LCF gap when catching the ball out in front, registered a top bat-exit velocity of 94 mph per Trackman Baseball / peak batted ball distance of 327 feet.
Defensively: The primary shortstop featured short and smooth footwork with feel for lateral movements and ability to play downhill through the baseball with controlled but efficient pace. Repeatedly got the glove hand out in front attacking the ball off the left side with an accurate, high ¾ slot with fluidity through release. INF - 81 mph
Pitching: RHP - Quick pace throughout the delivery; short rocker step with a medium/high leg lift above the belt, directional towards the plate while getting over the front side with a quick, high ¾ arm-slot with a moderate arm circle. FB ranged from 79-81 T82 mph with an upwards of 2089 spin per Trackman Baseball, mixed a nasty, late breaking 69-72 mph CB with a peak of 2300+ spin, countered with a sharp 73-75 mph SL with more horizontal plane. Both swing and miss offerings.Physical: Displayed advanced physicality in a well proportioned, 6-foot, 182-pound frame with athleticism throughout the movements. 7.47 60-yard dash runner.
Offensively: RHH. Strong, balanced stance with an even setup and the hands starting with wiggle in front of the shoulder as the barrel points upwards. Utilized a lift and replace stride coupled with a slight backwards move upon load allowing him to initiate a violent, slightly uphill barrel path into the hitting zone with present lift after contact. Generated plenty of natural backspin to the LCF gap and showcased the ability to hit for extra bases when contacting the ball out in front of the plate. Sunk into a strong lower half on the initial move in the box creating lots of torque and hard barrels upon impact. Recorded a solid 93 mph bat-exit velocity per Trackman Baseball during batting practice.
Defensively: The primary outfielder showcased active footwork that beat the ball to the spot yielding downhill play through the fielding window. A soft glove hand consistently attacked the ball out in front and paired well with high level first step quickness to either side. Recorded an accurate arm strength from his position out of a repeatable high ¾ arm-slot. OF - 79 mph
Pitching: Long, fluid delivery utilizing a high leg lift at the stack and plenty of power in the backside allowing for lower half drive towards the plate. The arm worked smoothly through a power high ¾ slot at 79-81 mph FB with downhill plane and mixed in a sharp 69-72 mph CB showing two plane 11/5 shape at times & a max of 2305 spin per Trackman Baseball. Dropped in a solid 72-74 mph SL with different tilt and 2131 spin as well as an adequate 73-75 mph CH with sell in the release and 1758 spin.
Showcased an advanced physical 6-foot, 182-pound frame with present strength in his actions and feel for his body. The right-handed hitter begins with a crouched, even stance utilizing a short lift-and-replace stride to initiate a raw, slightly uphill barrel path into the hitting zone. Generated whippy hands through contact allowing for occasional pull-side lift and hard barrels to the left side during batting practice. Recorded an 83 mph bat-exit velocity and ran a 7.50 60-yard dash. The primary shortstop featured long, adequate footwork playing through the baseball with regularity out of a low center of gravity setup. A soft glove hand worked plus and minus through the ball allowing for an accurate 76 mph arm-strength across the diamond. The right-handed pitcher sat 77-80 mph out of a repeatable quick and high ¾ arm-slot using a high leg-lift in the stack. Mixed in a 67-68 mph curveball showing off sweeping 11/5 action across the zone. Countered with a 71-73 mph changeup flashing occasional arm-side fade. Demonstrated feel for a 67-69 mph slider with small bite across the zone.
