Physical: 6-foot-0, 190 pounds; Broad shouldered, slight build. 7.73 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Even setup, with feet wide spread; flat bat to start. Short take back with the hands with an up and down stride for timing. Stays behind the ball while showing a strong lower half. Showed a compact swing path with a two handed finish. More flyballs than line drives and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 86 MPH via Trackman. Displayed a gap to gap approach with some pull side power.
Defensively: Starts with a compact setup; utilizing a one knee approach while staying low during receiving. Hands are soft while staying low during transfer. Short take back from a high 3/4 arm slot. 2.33-2.44 pop times. C - 75 MPH.
Physical: Strong, compact 5-foot-8, 160-pound frame. 8.94 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH - Balanced, upright stance with the barrel starting flat over the shoulder in the setup. Utilized a short lift and replace stride to initiate the swing through a short, flat path and into the hitting zone. Showed a shallow finish to the backside shoulder with slight pull across the baseball while hitting into a stiff front side. Featured a mostly pull-side approach generating a 46% fly ball rate which points to loft present in the swing. Recorded a 75 mph peak bat-exit velocity according to Trackman Baseball with room for more.
Defensively: The primary backstop flashed developing receiving skills with minimal/moderate glove hand movement at the catch point. Pop times ranged from 2.50-2.55 while getting the lower half and shoulders in-line in a hurry. The transfers worked well from glove to hand with a slight hitch in the throwing motion, arm worked through a short high ¾ slot and was accurate on the bag (60 mph from the crouch).
Physical: 5-foot-5, 150 pounds; strong, sturdy frame. 9.31 runner in the 60. Offensively: RHH. Even, wide stance with a flat bat angle; hands short take back, even stride. limited effort with long, sweeping with slight lift. Developing power; peak Trackman exit velocity of 73 MPH. Defensively: Compact; blocks well. Clean, quick transfer; standard 3/4. 2.46-2.52 pop times. C - 48 MPH.
5-foot-4, 140-pound right-handed hitter starts from a wide, square stance and uses a heel-raise stride to begin. Showcased a gap-to-gap approach and some feel for the barrel. Registered a bat exit velocity of 66 mph and ran an 8.96 60-yard dash. Showcased 56 mph arm strength out of the crouch defensively with pop times of 2.68-2.82. Also showed developing defensive skills in the infield with 54 mph arm strength across the diamond.
