Physical: Wiry, athletic 5-foot-11, 155lb frame with RTF. 7.16 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH. Crouched, compact setup, as the barrel starts flat on the shoulder. Utilized a short and quick leg-lift stride to initiate the swing through a whippy path into the hitting zone. Timed up short-to-long move that creates some twitch in the box for an extra-base hit approach towards the pull-side of the field. Recorded a T89 mph exit velocity, up to 331 feet and added an 89% barrel rate via Trackman.
Defensively: The primary backstop showed a low, traditional stance and worked thumb-up on a quiet receive. Pop times ranged from 1.88-1.95 with a balanced, powerful release to the correct side of the bag. Notched a 77 mph arm-strength from H ¾ slot and blocked for his pitchers in game-action.
Physical: Lean, athletic 5-foot-11, 155lb frame with RTF. 6.79 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Shoulder-width stance, as the hands operated loosely at the shoulder to begin. Utilized a quick leg-lift stride to initiate the swing through a flat, bursty path into the hitting zone. Plenty of hand-speed available in the box with an aggressive lower-half turn to multiple quadrants. Recorded a T95 mph exit velocity to the tune of 355 foot batted ball distance, carrying over to in-game success with a long pull-side HR.
Defensively: The primary catcher featured an advanced feel in the crouch with sub-2.00 pop times and a lightning-fast transfer out of H ¾ slot. Reached back for 78 mph arm-strength, able to receive softly on both corners too.
Physical: Athletic, super projectable 5-foot-10, 140lb frame with length/leverage in the actions. 6.93 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH - Wide, balanced stance with a slight bend in the knees at the setup. Utilized a short leg lift stride on time with a barrel move at the top of the load for launch. Initiated through an even, flat path into the hitting zone, using long levers to race towards the front of the plate for extension. Finished into a narrow, upright position, yielding some hard line drive contact through the middle of the field (30% line drive rate via Trackman) during his round and added a T89 mph bat-exit velocity on an extra-base hit swing over the LF head. Able to stay under control while showing weight shift into the front side, a combination that could lead to more power down the road.
Defensively: The primary backstop demonstrated a flexible, low postured crouch position with the hamstrings to heels. Clean receiver, mixing in pop times ranging from 1.94-2.02 in showcase setting; in/out with the ball with useful pre-catch rhythm and lighting quick, replaceable footwork towards the bag. Loose ¾ slot with minimal restrictions out of the glove and worked on the bag with ACC at a strong 77 mph. Able to handle the catch/throw phase with success in-game.
