Physical: Lean, lanky 6-foot, 145lb frame; athlete. 7.11 runner in the 60.
Offensively: LHH. Slightly open, taller stance, as the hands operated in a strong position to hit. Dips a little below the shoulder at launch, initiating the swing through a flat path into the hitting zone towards a controlled two-handed finish. Ability to hit for some average and stay inside the ball for a backside approach. Recorded a T85 mph bat-exit velocity per Trackman during his BP round, producing a lofty 56% fly ball rate.
Defensively: The primary shortstop featured a right to left, rounded move towards the ball, staying down with a tall glove hand and using momentum to grab an 80 mph arm strength across the diamond from a loose, lower ¾ slot. Feel to throw accurately on the run too.
Pitching: RHP. Quicker pace with lots of moving parts into footstrike and a full arm circle at H ¾ release. The FB landed at a 29% clip from 77-80 mph, mixing a sweeping 68-71 mph SL with varied shape. Added a developing 75-77 mph CH at 1502rpms that killed spin.
