2/23/13 Seibert showcased very well turning in pop times of 1.97-2.06 on throws of 77 mph from the crouch. The 5-foot-8, 175-pound prospect has broad shoulders and an ideal frame for a backstop. Seibert showed his versatility and athleticism with his work at 1B in addition to being a primary catcher. He showed solid glove work and good carry on throws of 81 mph across the infield while also showing the agility and footwork to be able to play multiple positions at the next level. Seibert hits out of a slightly crouched, square stance and uses a strong upper body to create a bat exit velocity of 81 mph. With work to add lower half rotation in his swing, Seibert could increase his power production.
1/26/13 Seibert had a solid day in all facets of the game. He showcased sound glove work and a 78 mph arm across the infield from 1B. Behind the plate he showed 2.09-2.15 pop times on throws of 76 mph from the crouch. Seibert took a solid round of batting practice squaring the baseball consistently. He displayed a 79 mph bat exit speed and some power potential.
