Showcased a large, compact 5-foot-11, 218-pound frame with physicality in his actions. The right-handed hitter begins with a tall, even stance utilizing a repeatable lift-and-replace stride to initiate his swing. Generated lift to the pull side gap using a strong lower half to create barrel whip through a slightly uphill path. Was on time to the ball in front of the plate with regularity, showing some pull side juice. Recorded an 84 mph bat-exit velocity and ran an 8.18 60-yard dash. The backstop flashed adequate receiving skills with a soft glove hand at the catch point. Pop times ranged from 2.16-2.23 on accurate throws of 74 mph from the crouch. Average straight line footwork and adequate transfers could be improved allowing for easier fluidity through his high ¾ arm-slot. Demonstrated solid blocking technique, beating the ball to the spot and creating soft walls on both sides of the plate.
