Physical: 6-foot-5, 205LBS. 7.64SEC 60-Yard Dash.
Offensively: RHH. Tall set up that is slightly open. Hands begin high and at the midline and up then back during the load. Uses a leg hang that gains ground towards the pitcher. Slightly downhill bath path and a high finish. Drive the baseball out front. Hits into a firm front side.
Defensively: At 1B hops into a wide base as the pitch is delivered. Shuffles side to side efficiently and stays in the lower half during the throwing process. Long, strong arm swing the profiles well to the mound.
Pitching: The primary RHP has obvious projectability on the mound. Starts with both heels on the rubber and glove at chest height. Uses a rocker step and leg lift to chest to put him in a position to get down the mound. Drops into the backside and the lead leg strides out. Lands on the toes of the plant foot. On glove break the arm works down and back. Is completely straight for a split second prior to its move toward the target. The 80-81MPH FB is paired with a CB and CH.
Showcased a noticeable and physically advanced, 6-foot-5, 200-pound frame with length in his actions and room to add strength. The right-handed hitter begins with a tall, slightly open stance utilizing a leg-hang with weight shift to initiate a slightly uphill barrel path into the hitting zone. Generated a pull-side approach while contacting the ball routinely out in front of the plate, allowing for occasional lift. Demonstrated feel for the barrel and using all fields during batting practice while recording a 79 mph bat-exit velocity. Ran a 7.75 60-yard dash. The primary first baseman displayed adequate feel around the bag with a low center of gravity. A soft glove hand played plus/minus through the ball yielding an accurate 70 mph arm-strength across the diamond out of a low-effort, high ¾ arm-slot. The right-handed pitcher sat 74-76 mph out of a slow-tempoed, high ¾ arm-slot with repeatability and length in his arm-swing. Mixed in a 62-63 mph curveball flashing 11/5 shape in the zone and countered with a 64-65 mph changeup thrown with adequate sell and featuring small arm-side run.
