Offensively: LHH. Tall, balanced setup; moderate leg lift. average effort with gets the head out early, bat stays on one plane throughout swing; 15 degree bat angle into the zone via Blast Motion. Murray is able to produce 6.2 G’s of force with an on-plane efficiency of 51%. Consistent pull side contact; average Trackman exit velocity of 79 MPH; peak exit velo was 89 MPH.
Defensively: Tall, wider base; lets the ball get to him, gets low with the ball. solid hands; long arm swing with a 3/4 arm slot. INF - 82 MPH.
Pitching: Sets up on the third base side, side steps and strides directly at the target. Long take back with a high 3/4 arm slot. FB: T 83MPH, 80-82 MPH. Stays true. CB: 66-69 MPH. Tilt, 1-7 shape. CH: 76-77 MPH. Fades.
6-foot, 165-pound primary pitcher sat 79-81 from a 3/4 arm slot with a long, loose arm swing. The lefty showcased a well above average curveball at 65-72 with late, sharp 12/6 break. Changeup at 67-73 is thrown at fastball arm speed with good sell. The left-handed hitter starts from a square stance and uses a lift-and-replace stride to begin. Showcased balance throughout with an ability to create back spin. Registered a bat exit velocity of 88 mph and ran a 7.33 60-yard dash. Showed a soft glove hand and active feet around the bag at first base with 79 mph arm strength across the diamond. Well rounded two-way prospect will be a high follow in this class.
5-foot-9, 135-pound primary left-handed pitcher utilized a balanced, downhill delivery and sat 70-73 mph with cut from a 3/4 arm-slot. Featured a 59-62 mph slurve that showed 2/8 spin. Flashed a 64-65 mph changeup with similar arm-speed to his fastball. The left-handed hitter started with a slightly-open stance and used a leg-hang to initiate his swing. Stayed behind the ball well during batting practice with feel for the barrel as evidenced by his 74 mph bat-exit-velocity. Demonstrated solid feel around the bag with feet that played into 72 mph throws across the infield. Ran a 7.76 60-yard dash.
