Amplo stands 6-2, 200 pounds with a strong, mature frame and present strength throughout. Left-handed hitter put together one of the louder offensive datasets in the group, posting 82.7 mph Bat Speed, 23g Rotational Acceleration, and a quick 0.12 Time to Contact. The barrel works with real force and intent, and the TrackMan output followed: 90.6 EV Avg / 105 EV Max with 391 ft Max Distance. Defensive profile showed 75 mph INF velo and 78 mph OF velo, with the bat clearly carrying the profile.
Physical: Broad-shouldered, projectable 5-foot-10, 174lb frame. 7.55 runner in the 60.
Offensively: LHH. Even, slightly bent stance, as the hands operated in rhythm off of the shoulder. Utilized a lift and replace stride to initiate the swing through a flat, short-to-long path into the hitting zone. Turned tightly on the rear hip with developing feel for the front of the plate; recorded a T83 mph exit velocity via Trackman from a middle of the field approach.
Defensively: The third baseman displayed choppy footwork and some ability to range to his left, settling down with an adequate base at the fielding window. A soft glove hand funneled inward with a quick trigger out of ¾ slot (69 mph).
