Physical: Lean and athletic 6-foot, 195lb frame with present strength. 7.41 runner in the 60YD.
Offensively: RHH. Lower half begins slightly open with a relaxed, low hand set. Leg lift stride initiates weight shift onto the backside. Violent, high intent weight transfer with back foot off the ground at contact. Found consistent barrels with quick hand speed and rotational acceleration maxing 29.4G.
Defensively: The primary third baseman plays low to the ground featuring soft hands out front with a moderate-to-long arm circle and low ¾ release. 88MPH arm strength across the diamond.
Pitching: RHP. Worked center rubber with an angled side step and controlled mid-chest leg drive as hands work from the waist up. Minimal lean over the belt, landing slightly open at foot strike in a whippy, high intent delivery. Low IVB/heavy life FB sat upper 80s while occasionally nearing 2,500 RPM. Sweeping 76-77MPH SL averaged 2,520 RPM, nearing 20 inches horizontal. Tumbling low 80s CH with significant ASR and massively killed spin at 1,079 RPM.
Physical: Tooled-up 6-foot, 195lb frame with two-way presence. 7.60 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Taller, slightly open stance, bent into a coiled position over the right hip. Utilized a stretched lift-and-replace stride to initiate the swing through a direct, flat path into the hitting zone, lifting at the finish. Quality hand-speed in the box, doing damage on the inner-half for a T92 mph exit velocity. Posted a 63% barrel rate, which showed his body control all over.
Defensively: The primary third baseman featured adequate pace at the hot corner, playing from under the ball using lower posture in the base. Fielded out in front of the toes and created a full range-of-motion across the diamond (88 mph, carry).
Pitching: RHP. Begins sideways off the middle of the mound. Faster tempo that commands east/west parts of the plate with tail to the arm-side on an 86-88 mph FB (2497). Life out of the hand while mixing a tight 79-81 mph SL for swing/miss into the 2700+ range.
Physical: Durable 6-foot, 190lb frame with significant two-way feel. 7.60 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Grounded, slightly open stance, as the hands operated flush on the shoulder. Utilized a leg-hang stride with squeeze on the rear-hip to initiate the swing through an uphill, high intent path into the hitting zone. Backspun the ball for distance to the big part of the field, recording a T92 mph exit velocity and 63% line-drive rate via Trackman. Just missed a few healthy cuts during gameplay.
Defensively: The third baseman featured some feel around the bag at the hot corner. Spread out, wider base that fielded off the center of his body. Two deliberate shuffles towards the target with an accurate 87 mph arm-strength out of a ¾ slot.
Pitching: RHP. Begins sideways from the middle of the rubber; faster pace with a quick leg-lift and hip-coil at the top. Natural separation as he unwinds down the slope from a lower ¾ slot, holding 83-86, T88 mph with cut at times on the FB. Mixed a sharp 75-77 mph SL (2329) that expanded the zone.
Physical: Durable, imposing 6-foot, 190lb frame with two-way capabilities. 7.53 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Upright, square stance, as the hands operated in a strong position to hit. Utilized a leg-lift stride with some weight-shift present to initiate the swing through an uphill, connected path into the hitting zone. Carried the ball for distance to the LCF gap in an extra-base hit approach, peppering the wall up to 305 feet and T90 mph exit velocity. Middle of the order projection down the road.
Defensively: The third baseman showed off simple footwork at the hot corner, gaining ground while fielding off of the middle of his body. Comfortable moving to his glove-side, exchanging on a shuffle for an 87 mph arm-strength.
Pitching: RHP. Starts off the middle of the rubber; consistent pace with some hip-coil available. Hides it early and finishes a ¾ slot with whippy release. Held 85-87 mph with hard arm-side run and mixed a sweeping mid-70’s SL (2340) to the dead zone of lefties.
Physical: Powerful 6-foot, 190lb frame with two way feel. 7.88 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH - Even, upright stance, as the hands operated lower to start under the shoulder. Utilized a leg hang stride to initiate the swing through a violent, slightly uphill path with eye popping rotational acceleration. One-handed whippy finish on the backside, as the bat-speed flashed at the front of the plate. Recorded a T93 mph bat-exit velocity and posted a 335 foot distance on his best blast. Peppered the pull-side gap with loft in the approach and stayed connected to the ground.
Defensively: The third baseman made the full array of plays, handling himself with composure on the run. Bent down in the lower half with good posture and showed off pace across the diamond from a ¾ slot (86 mph arm, accurate). Gives confidence that he can handle either corner position down the road.
Pitching: RHP - THe righty begins from the middle of the rubber; lots of loose pace, repeats. High tempo down the slope, as the FB held 83-84 mph, arm-side run. Mixed a hard-sweeping 70-71 mph SL for swing/miss and diving 74-76 mph CH that showed flashes.
Physical: 6-foot-0, 180 pounds; Broad shouldered, athletic build. 7.72 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Even setup, with feet shoulder width apart; upright bat position. Loads straight back with an exaggerated leg kick for timing. Stays behind the ball while showing an aggressive lower half. Showed a direct swing path with a one-handed finish. More line drives than flyballs and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 89 MPH via Trackman.
Defensively: Starts with an upright /tall setup; walks into ready position while quick first step. Hands are out in front with a clean transfer. Short take back from a standard 3/4 arm slot. INF - 75/79 MPH. At first base, Richardson uses his athleticism to his advantage and bounces off the bag quickly and fields out in front. Maintains a short arm action and throws from a low to standard 3/4 slot.
Pitching: Richardson uses a center rubber setup while using a side step. Belt high leg drive with a slight lean over the belt. Has aLong stride landing inline with the plate. Moderate arm swing that is effortless with fluidity, while working through a standard 3/4 slot. Recoils with finish. FB: Peak velo of 83 MPH, while sitting 80-82 MPH; commands both sides. CB: 69-71 MPH; showed depth. CH: 72-74 MPH; fading action.
