Physical: Lengthy, projectable 6-foot-2, 160lb frame with additional strength and power coming in the near future. Posted a 6.84 60-yard dash flashing athleticism in the actions.
Offensively: LHH - Balanced, even setup as the hands started at a deep attack at the shoulder. Utilized an easy lift and replace stride, landing on the toe and working down to the foot coupled with a quick triggered launch through a flat path into the hitting zone. Peppered the ball with leverage to the pull-side during batting practice while keeping the chest down over the plate throughout the turn. Bat to ball skills stood out and produced backspin to the RCF gap; 288 foot max batted ball distance // 90 mph peak bat-exit velocity per Trackman Baseball.
Defensively: The outfielder showcased plenty of length at his position with ability to cover ground using long strides. Got around the baseball working downhill in a straight line towards the target, the glove played out in front and gave way to a whippy, quick arm through a high ¾ slot with accuracy on the plate (86 mph arm).
Physical: 6’2 160lb projectable long-limbed frame. 7.25 runner in the 60-yard dash. With room to improve all aspects as physicality improves
Offensively: Smooth simple movement swinging from the LH side. Produced up to 90 mph exit velocity. Advanced feel for the barrel and the strike zone. Swing works through the middle of the field.
Defensively: OF shows good ability to move laterally to the ball and throw in rhythm to the target. Throwing velocity registered in at 84 mph
1.20.18 - Left-handed hitters starts from an open stance and initiates his swing from a high-hands load with a toe-tap stride. Displayed above average feel for the barrel and an aggressive hip turn with a bat exit velocity of 65 mph. Ran a 7.97 60-yard dash and showcased fluid actions defensively as a middle infielder. Plays through the baseball well and showed a quick release with accurate 67 mph arm strength across the diamond. Also registered pop times of 2.40-2.50 on throws of 63 mph from the crouch while working out behind the plate.
