Physical: Lean/athletic 5-foot-9, 160lb frame with room to continue filling out as he matures. 7.34 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: Switch hitter; mirrored from both sides showing more natural movements as a left-handed hitter. Easy, slightly open stance and slight rhythm in the hands operating from a handsy approach using a controlled leg-lift stride. Demonstrated obvious feel for the barrel, peppering line drives (46% LD rate via Trackman) towards the middle of the field during his batting practice round. Posted an impressive 94 mph bat-exit velocity and showed easy top of the order traits.
Defensively: The primary outfielder approached from a downhill attack, getting the chest out over the toes. The glove hand patrolled off the right foot, corralling inward to the chest using clean exchanges. Released accurately from a high ¾ slot producing arm-side run towards the plate (70 mph arm, good trajectory).
Physically: 5’8 150 OF/LHP ran a 7.49 laser timed 60-yard dash. Small and young frame has room to add strength and size.
Offensively: Has a simple stance, where he uses a small leg kick to create some timing. Barrel worked down through the ball and finished high. Over-exaggerates staying down down on the ball through contact.
Defensively: Moves smooth and athletically as he approaches and plays through the ball. Catches clean off of his glove side foot. Uses a small pro step to keep momentum flowing. Arm works short and quick OTT.
Pitching: Has an average tempo in his windup, seems to move with ease not over exerting himself. Arm stays short and quick on all pitches.
Physical: 6-foot-1, 170-pounds. Long, projectable frame. 7.65 runner in the 60; 4.56 home-to-1B.
Offensively: Switcher hitter. From the right side; slightly open setup with calm and controlled timing mechanisms. Stays behind the ball with some aggression out of the lower half. Short, compact stroke that stays inside contact, middle of the field, line drive results. Identical setup from the left side with slightly more lift to his swing path. 65 MPH raw exit velocity.
Defensively: Fundamental approach; fields ball outside front leg. Uses a prostep with long arm action from a high ¾ slot. OF - 63 MPH.
Pitching: Small sidestep with leg lift above the waist, stays balanced and in line with shoulder tilt on stride to an easy effort, repeatable release. Long, fluid arm action with 3/4 release. FB: T67, 65-67 MPH. Arm side run. CB: 56-57 MPH. 1-7 shape with early break. CH: 55-56 MPH. Maintains arm speed.
