6/19/13 Kidd has a projectable frame at 6-foot-4, 200-pounds. While the righty did not showcase overpowering stuff on the mound, he did show command of three pitches and the potential for added velocity in the future. Kidd sat 79-82 out of a 3/4 arm slot with some arm side run to his fastball. He also showcased an 11/5 breaking curveball at 66 mph with good downward break. Kidd's 68 mph changeup was thrown at near fastball arm speed and he commanded it down in the zone for strikes. The right-handed hitter hits out of a square stance with limited load action to his swing. He displayed the ability to barrel the baseball consistently with a bat exit velocity of 80 mph. Kidd showed athletic actions at 3B with good carry to throws of 78 mph across the diamond.
