Bent knees, wide base, slightly open, bat resting on his back shoulder; medium stride. average effort with flat to the ball, uphill after contact finishing high; 14 degree bat angle into the zone via Blast Motion. Wileczek is able to produce 7.1 G’s of force with an on-plane efficiency of 66%. Lots of hard contact to pull side; average Trackman exit velocity of 78.92 MPH; peak exit velo was 87 MPH. Defensively: Low to the ground; consistent footwork working around the ball. smooth hands, seamless transfer; quick arm into his release with a high 3/4 arm slot. INF - 73 MPH. OF - 76 MPH.
5-foot-6, 150-pound right-handed hitter impressed with a well-rounded skill set. The right-handed hitter starts from a slightly open stance and utilizes a short leg-lift stride to begin. Stays in legs well and showed above average feel for the barrel. Registered a bat exit velocity of 86 mph and ran one of the top 60-yard dash times of the day at 6.66. Plays low to the ground defensively with active feet and solid lateral range while displaying impressive 88 mph arm strength across the diamond.
5-foot-6, 140-pounder stood out as the top defensive player at the event. In spite of his frame Wileczek flashed 81 mph arm strength across the diamond while playing low to the ground with active feet and a quick release from multiple arm angles. The right-handed hitter starts from a slightly open stance and initiates his swing with a leg-hang stride. Showcased a feel for the barrel when on time to the hitting zone with a bat exit velocity of 83 mph and ran a 7.05 60-yard dash. The righty sat 80-81 from a high 3/4 arm slot on the mound with some hip coil to his delivery. Wileczek also commanded a curveball with 11/5 rotation at 65-68 and a changeup at 68-70 at fastball arm speed.
