Showcased a physical 5-foot-10, 175-pound frame with athleticism in his actions and feel for his body. The right-handed hitter begins with a crouched, even stance utilizing a short lift-and-replace stride to initiate his swing. Generated a slightly uphill barrel path into the hitting zone allowing for pull side lift and sink into a strong lower half. Demonstrated occasional weight-shift through a stiff front side creating natural backspin to all fields. Recorded an 82 mph bat-exit velocity and ran a 6.94 60-yard dash. The primary backstop showed off adequate receiving skills with minimal glove hand movement at the catch point. Pop times ranged from 2.06-2.15 on accurate throws of 70 mph from the crouch out of a high ¾ arm-slot. Displayed adequate footwork and short transfers yielding consistent throws on the bag. Featured average blocking skills to either side with ability to improve on body control when moving side to side, making recovery easier.
