Physical: Lean, developing 5-foot-9, 135lb frame with feel. 8.57 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH. Wide stance with inward-facing knees, as the hands start high and pre-set. Utilized a direct lift-and-replace stride out towards the pitcher to initiate the swing through a flat path into the zone. Not much extra going on, staying short towards the middle of the field for a gap-to-gap approach. Recorded a T80 mph exit velocity and then rode a hot streak into the playoffs with multiple hits.
Defensively: The primary middle infielder featured quick, choppy footwork and an adjustable glove-hand that flashed from a lower position. Some life across the diamond, up to 78 mph and really spins it on the mound accordingly. Played the game with fire.
Physical: Lean, athletic 5-foot-9, 135lb frame with RTF. 8.29 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH. Wide, spread attack, as the hands worked loosely on the backside. Utilized a direct lift-and-replace stride to initiate the swing through a flat path into the hitting zone and lifted finish. Produced a strong line-drive approach during BP, getting the head out for success to the pull-side gap. Recorded a T80 mph exit velocity with more to come.
Defensively: The middle infielder bounced around using a hop in the prep-step and lateral range each way. Played with a natural internal clock, keeping the feet moving towards the target for a 77 mph arm-strength across the dirt.
Pitching: RHP. Begins off the left corner of the mound; highly efficient with big stride length and separation down the slope. Fast arm from H ¾ slot on 76-78 mph FB (2253). Added a sharp, two-plane CB at 68-70 mph in advantage counts and quality low-70’s CH.
Physical: Lean, athletic 5-foot-8, 135lb build. 8.40 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH. Wider, bent stance, as he connected to the ground with the barrel starting at a 45 on the shoulder. Utilized a controlled leg hang to deliver a fluid, flat path into the hitting zone. Line drive approach that sprinkled both gaps evenly, some barrel-lag, and T79 mph bat-exit velocity. Might hit for additional power sooner rather than later.
Defensively: The shortstop displayed choppy, up-tempo footwork to his left, scooping up the ball out in front at the touch. Kept chest downhill to get eyes on the ball, pace stood out, 74 mph arm-strength across from H ¾. Made the play on the run too.
Pitching: RHP - The righty operated from the stretch only. Peppered the zone at 73-74 mph with ride/run characteristics. Added short, two-plane upper-60’s breaker and quality 68-70 mph CH out of the same window. Competes.
Physical: Compact, developing/athletic 5-foot-5, 123lb frame. 8.92 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH - Crouched, balanced stance at a lower posture. Utilized a short lift and replace stride and worked knee to knee, directionally through a flat path into the hitting zone. Stayed on pitches all over the plate, working towards flush contact that was manipulated at times. Strong bat to ball skills while matching pitch plane out of the hand, posted a T74 mph bat-exit velocity with singles power at the moment. Notched a 46% fly ball rate (via Trackman) with ability to backspin for distance on occasion, which will play well as he adds strength.
Defensively: The primary shortstop featured choppy feet and showed the glove hand early as he arrived to the window. Kept the chest over toes with proper tilt towards the target, promoting rhythm and tempo across the diamond (shorter H ¾ slot, 68 mph arm, feet stayed moving). Made the play on the run accurately.
Physical: 5-foot-5, 123 pounds; Lean, proportional build. 8.97 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Even setup, with feet just outside his shoulders; bat positioned at a 45 degree angle. Loads straight back with a knee knock leg kick for timing. Drifts into contact while showing an average effort from the legs. Showed a compact swing path with a two handed finish. More flyballs than line drives and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 66 MPH via Trackman.
Defensively: Starts with a compact setup; walks into ready position while quick first step. Hands work through the ball while funnelling to the hip before transfer. Moderate arm circle from a standard 3/4 arm slot. INF - 66 MPH.
Pitching: Zimorowicz uses a glove side setup working primarily from the stretch. Belt high leg drive with a full coil away from the plate. Has a moderate stride while landing slightly closed. Moderate arm swing while arm stays in line with 2B, while working through a high 3/4 slot. Spins off 1B side with finish. FB: Peak velo of 69 MPH, while sitting 67-69 MPH; arm side run with sink. CB: 58-61 MPH; 11-5 shape.
