McGowan is a 5-foot-10, 165-pound 2B/SS from the Haverford School. He is a two time first team All Inter-Ac selection and has played on two Carpenter Cup teams. McGowan led Southeastern PA with 46 hits in 105 AB’s and was among the leaders in RBI with 41.

8/25/13 McGowan is a 5-foot-10, 165-pound left-handed hitter that has some pop. He uses a high hands load and a solid lower half to create barrel whip and a bat exit velocity of 82 mph. McGowan took an impressive round of batting practice at Widener University, hitting two home runs and several other balls to the wall in right. McGowan has a quick release and good feet in the middle infield. He showcased a 77 mph arm across the diamond and the ability to play the baseball on the move.
