Physical: Strong, well proportioned 6-foot, 170lb frame with durability and athleticism in the actions. 6.95 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH - Balanced, slightly open stance with a minor bend in the knees; some rhythm in the hands above the shoulder using a short lift and replace stride out towards the pitcher, flat barrel path with whip through impact. Generated a mostly pull-side approach and found success backspinning fly balls deep to the LCF gap for extra-bases (63% fly ball rate, 250 foot batted ball distance) and reached a T85 mph bat-exit velocity via Trackman Baseball. Developing bat-speed that can flash at times (T71 mph) and lays the groundwork for additional future PWR down the road.
Defensively: The primary outfielder featured early reads off the bat and down chest angles. Low/medium posture and stayed fluid in the footwork on the approach; fielded calmly off the left foot with funnel inward and an accurate exchange at the belt. Smooth transitions and carry to the plate from a lengthy high ¾ slot (75 mph arm, LF/CF projection).
6-foot, 150-pounder showcased fundamentally sound actions across the board. The right-handed hitter starts from a slightly open stance and initiates his swing with a lift-and-replace stride. Displayed a direct swing path with quick hands and a middle of the field approach with good barrel awareness. Registered a bat exit velocity of 75 mph and ran a 7.25 60-yard dash. Plays through the baseball routinely in the outfield with developing 72 mph arm strength.
