5/12/14 Wright sat 80-84 out of a high 3/4 arm slot. The 6-foot, 165-pound lefty's 2-seam FB ran in under right handed hitter's hands at 80-82 and he showed some arm side run to his 83-84 mph 4-seam FB. Wright also displayed a 1/7 breaking curveball that sat 67-69 and a 74 mph changeup that he threw at near FB arm speed. While Wright experienced command issues, mainly down in the zone, during a rainy evening he was effectively able to control the running game with two pickoffs and a solid slide step delivery.
